Each piece of Unique Wood Furniture is specially manufactured for you after you place your order. Due to the nature of solid wood, each board you receive may have unique characteristics like grain color, grain pattern, unique markings, nail holes, knots, “checking”, dugs in nails (for reclaimed wood), dents, dings, open cracks and other characteristics commonly found in wood. We will do our best to address your unique style and tastes, but we cannot exactly match any of the images you see on the Website.
Terms and conditions
Condition of wood boards: Due to the nature of our products, color, texture, and all other characteristics of our material vary widely. We strongly urge you to view all of our pieces available on the Website to familiarize and understand this variation. By placing an order, you agree to this variation. Our pieces are built for INTERIOR/INDOOR only.
Cancellation of Order: A Buyer has three (3) business days to cancel the Order and receive a full refund without penalty. After this period, Unique Wood Furniture may, in its sole discretion, allow Buyer to cancel the Order but the down payment amount will not be refunded.
Care: Dusting with a dry cloth can scratch, so lightly spritz your cleaning with water, a spray dusting agent or wood polish. Never spray furniture directly, as overspray can leave a difficult-to-remove film. Follow the grain of the wood as you dust to avoid cross-grain scratches of the nature of wood products. Long periods of low humidity will dry wood and cause splitting, cracking, and warping. If for any other reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will make every effort to insure that you are happy with your purchase.
Return and Exchange: If within the first 15 days after receiving any standard product (furniture pieces) you do not remain completely satisfied with your purchase, we will study each case to see if an exchange or refund for the amount of the piece can be provided, minus the down payment deposit. Our furniture is non returnable due to color, stain, paint, and matching issues. The product must be in new condition. Repairs will be attempted as the preferred resolution method in all cases. Items purchased from Inventory are non-returnable.
Warranty: Since wood is a living object, changes are expected during its lifetime due to natural conditions. We offer a 30 day warranty on fixing/exchanging the furniture piece if craftsmanship error occurred and Loose/separated boards or legs exist. In case of a service/job done, a payment refund may be offered (without the down payment made upfront) for the same reasons.
We don't offer warranty: Color matching - our furniture is non returnable due to color, stain, paint, and matching issues. There may be the option to refinish for a fee. Dents, Holes, Knots, Unleveled boards, Wood scratches, Wood Cracks , are are not considered a defect. If you request epoxy in the cracks, the epoxy may also crack and this is also not considered a defect. Our workshop will fill cracks and knots with an epoxy filler unless requested otherwise. Metal bases are bought from third parties, not fabricated by us, so warranties would depend on their policies. Change over time due to light exposure, moisture, heat, or other factors can happen. We cannot warrant against changes that may occur naturally over time. We’re not responsible for damages occurred during transportation/unload with pieces that were picked up from our shop.
